BFV Firestorm debuts March 25th with a flame footed fever.

EA’s next Battle Royale is coming March 25th from developer DICE as a mode in Battlefield V called: Firestorm.

Firestorm is your more traditional Battle Royale but with added DNA from having a Battlefield series heritage. Set during WWII, there will be 17 different vehicles for players to use for mobility as well as weapons. Everything from sports cars to tanks and helicopters will be on the map for survivors to commandeer in their quest to be the last team standing. The buildings on the map are also destructible. If a tank rams into a house full of snipers, it will tear through it like tissue paper.

All of this is set on a massive map that’s being constantly closed in on by a ring of fire that will consume every player (and structure) that enters it. The video looks great and early impressions of the game from media and influencers seems very positive. We’ll be in the fight soon!

A deadly ring of fire enclosing the largest Battlefield map ever. Epic weapons and combat vehicles. Squads or solo in 64-player matches. Available to all Battlefield™ V players. There are no second chances in Firestorm.

Scavenge: Work as a team to unlock high-risk, high-reward Objectives and claim the best loot while exploring a map ten times larger than Hamada.

Fight: Unleash Battlefield V‘s signature destruction with combat vehicles, artillery strikes, and an expanding arsenal of weapons.

Survive: Play together to share gear, revive fallen squad mates, and outlast the Firestorm that incinerates everything in its path.
