Team Liquid has added another prestigious partner to their stable in Honda, a worldwide corporation who’s known not only for their cars but also robots. Why isn’t Honda their official robot partner?! Missed opportunities.
In all seriousness, Honda is an amazing partner to score and the deal will be netting Liquid a fully customized Honda Odyssey they’ll be driving around LCS in addition to the usual perks. Team Liquid will also be creating a six episode video feature highlighting their major teams and their plans to grow even stronger in 2019.
Esports is an industry in motion, and it’s important to stay ahead both literally and figuratively. It’s this pursuit of innovation that drives us to do what we do, creating new experiences for our fans, players and partners through gaming. We’ve come a long way since we started, and 2019 will be another great leap forward for Team Liquid — but this time, we’ll be riding in style.
We’re thrilled to announce our Official Automobile Partner, Honda!
As one of the most admired car companies in the world, Honda has earned a reputation for innovative and fun to drive vehicles. Honda believes in “The Power of Dreams” — the imagination to dream big, and the determination to make those dreams come true —, which captures the spirit of ambition that was required to establish and expand the esports industry into what it is today. We’re excited to see how Honda will infuse their forward-thinking ideas and power to dream big into this partnership.
“My first car was a green Honda Accord EX — I associate safety, reliability and style with the Honda brand to this day, and am excited to stir those memories with an official Team Liquid partnership. We’ll be working closely with Honda on content, activations and more that cater directly to our Team Liquid fan audience, and feel honored to work with a prestigious international brand who believe as fiercely as we do in the esports ecosystem.”

Our journey together will start at the LCS, where you’ll soon be seeing the Official Team Liquid Honda Odyssey. The reigning LCS champions will be cruising Santa Monica in a fully decked out Team Liquid Honda Odyssey. The AWTF parking lot will look a lot livelier once the stallion’s in the stable.
Honda will also be lending their spirit of Koto-zukuri, the art of creating new experiences, for a new 6-part video series. They take great pride in creating new experiences through storytelling, and our new show will highlight our League of Legends, Fortnite, and Dota 2 teams and how they plan to “Level Up” in 2019. 1UP Studios will be following each team through 2 episodes each to reveal the small advantages that combine to create a champion.
