Four pro players and their teams have been banned from PUBG Esports for three years.


On December 19th Mark “Tefl0n” Formaro, Christian “Cuhris” Narvaez, Liam “Liammm” Tran and Tyler “DevowR” Sti were handed out three year bans from the PUBG Corp for use of “Unauthorized third party software” during public NPL qualification matches.

After an internal investigation at PUBG Corp. the ban was locked in and began on December 31st.

Details are scarce at the moment about the programs used but keeping in mind that there’s not only plenty of cheats tied to PUBG, there’s also information stealing apps out there as well.

The PUBG Esports team will be releasing more info and official guidelines relating to bans, severity and criteria soon. We’ll update with more as they do.
