PUBG Breaks Steam Records as being the first ever game to have a million concurrent players for over 365 days.

While PUBG has taken heat from Fortnite and has more coming in the Battle Royale space from Call of Duty Blackout and Battlefield V’s Firestorm, there’s no denying the game’s popularity and staying power. Adding to the 50 million sold milestone, it’s now also the first game to ever have over a million players per day for over a year!

This info comes from SteamDB, a trusted source for PC gaming metrics across Steam.

It’s important to note that mega-hit Fortnite isn’t available on Steam and isn’t traceable in the same way. And it really doesn’t matter in the long run. Both games are doing fantastic and face the same challenges going forward.

Not bad for a mod created by an indie team eh?
