Wanna know the struggles of streaming over other jobs? I left for less than 48 hours and lost 40,000 subscribers on twitch. I’ll be back today (Wednesday) grinding again.

A lot of gaming fans in their jealousy of large streaming stars fail to understand how grueling a job it is. Streamers have ridiculous hours and schedules that they have to keep or their fickle fans will unsub and slam their names. The more you’re online, the more you make. Not a lot of room to live life as well.
This was illustrated very well by Tyler (Ninja) Blevins who took two days off stream to compete in (and win) the Fortnite Pro-Am with Mar$hmellow. The duo earned a million dollars for charity but got a loss on return with the 40,000 subs loss for Ninja equaling to around $100.000 a month. Ouch.
