SATURDAY HOT “ACES” ON MLB CIRCUIT! (*MAY 26, 2018)

THREE RED HOT PITCHERS TAKE HILL FOR SOME SATURDAY HOLIDAY BASEBALL!

First we want to say “HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY” Weekend to you all and a shout out to the Veterans and those now serving our Military.

On the later card of today’s MLB slate we have 3 Pitchers pitching some solid baseball and all off a fantastic outing in their last starts.

First we have the Twins Jake Odorizzi, who has been solid his last (5) starts. He had a season high (10)K’s his last start and has allmowed only (11) hits and (2) earned runs his last 3 starts combined(16.2 inn), with (20) K’s in that trio. He has (20)K’s his last 5 starts combined going (28) innings.

Next we have Cubs Jose Quintana, who is off a sweet gem his last start allowing only 1 hit in (7) innings and (0) earned runs. He has a (2.20) ERA his last 5 starts combined, with (29) K’s in (28.2) innings of work. His only problem is walking too many guys this year as he now has 4 games of four walks or more.

Last we have the Astros Lance McCullers, who except for one terrible start, has been one of the best Pitchers in MLB this year. He has allowed (2) earned runs or less in 8 starts and has been nearly unhittable all year carrying a low (1.93) ERA in those past 5 starts. He has (31) K’s as well as his curve ball is just plain “nasty” his last 5 starts. He’s allowed 4 homers all year, but none the past 6 starts combined. He’s allowed only (11) hits his last 3 starts combined (18 innings of work).

MLB is all about getting into a groove and now these Pitchers have enough starts to make a little good streak as they know what’s working and what isn’t. I’d fully expect all 3 of these guys to have a solid night tonight on the Hill.

Enjoy the games and have a SAFE “Holiday” weekend.

God Bless.
