Microsoft is well known for it’s progressive development of hardware and software that allow people with disabilities to join in on activities that may be harder for them on standard hardware.
Known insider h0x0d has posted an image of what is supposedly a new Xbox One controller that’s made for helping disabled people join the gaming fray easier.
“yes, the code name should be “Project Z” as article says, and “Z” maybe stands for “Zephyrus” I heard, also the product name may be “Xbox Adaptive Controller” h0x0d said responding to an article about the controller.
How exactly the controller works isn’t clear. It seems like from the icons on top that you may be able to assign a multitude of functions to the two control pads although these may function only as analog stick replacements.
It’s expected that this controller as well as an updated version of the Xbox Elite controller will be announced at, or just before the E3 Expo in June.
