Red Sox Pitcher Offers to Stop Playing Fortnite in the Locker Room.

Do you slip in some Fortnite time at work? Apparently you’re not alone, although you’re not likely to be a Major League Sports star… Unless you’re David Price.

David who was the 2012 AL Cy Young Award winner has insisted that video games aren’t the cause for his Carpel Tunnel issues even if he plays a lot of them.

Via ESPN:

“If that was the cause of the problem, it started back in 1997 when I got my first PlayStation when I was 12 years old,” Price said. “I’ve always played video games.”

David also insists that the Fortnite matches played with his teammates aren’t a distraction. David isn’t afraid to admit that he plays Fortnite a lot, even from the team rooms at ball parks. While he doesn’t see it as a problem or distraction, he’ll stop if others feel it is.

“I’ve always played it with my teammate, during the offseason, at the field, at the hotel,” he said. “That’s kind of my generation. That’s what we do. If I need to shut down video games and pick up a new hobby, then so be it.”

Fortnite is a world wide phenomenon. We’re willing to bet whoever you may think of, famous or not, plays the game now and then. Well, maybe not The Pope… That would be awesome though.
