Smite and Paladins Developer Announces Esports Production Company “Skillshot Media”.

Hi-Rez Studios, like yours truly, hails from the Southern US State of Georgia. Known for the popular MOBA Smite and the best hero shooter on the market: Paladins, Hi-Rez has produced several large Esports events and leagues for both games over the years.

Looking to create a company purely focused on the Esports production side of their marketing, Hi-Rez has announced Skillshot Media.

Skillshot’s main focus under it’s President Todd Harris (Co-founder of Hi-Rez) will be creating bigger and better leagues and events for Smite and Paladins but they aren’t ruling out doing work for other developers looking to execute Esports programs.

Speaking to The Esports Observer, Todd Harris made the following statement:

“We believe both Smite and Paladins esports will benefit from dedicated resources and leadership and growing both these leagues was the primary reason for creating a new entity. As we continue to invest in our esports capabilities, other publishers have also been reaching out to us and this structure allows us to pursue those opportunities in the future.”

We’re looking forward to seeing more from Skillshot.
