CAN THE THUNDER WIN FINALLY ON ROAD AND FORCE A GAME 7?
Well folks, the Thunder were so close to the season ending in Game 6, down 25 points in the third and looking as bad as you can look. Then they caught a huge break, Jazz stud Center Gobert got hit with his 5th foul and then it was “RUSSMANIA TIME”. With his team on the ropes, Russ and his other All Star buddy Paul George, just went into a zone we rarely see, well wait we have seen, from Russ in past Playoff seasons, but not at all really into this “IMMACULATE SECOND HALF”. The Thunder not only erased a 25 point deficit, they also covered the (-3) point spread as well. Now can they finally win a Road Playoff game and send this back to OKC-town for a huge Game 7?

GREENE LIGHT DISTRICT NBA “PLAY OF THE DAY” PICK FOR APRIL 27th action:
Well we gave you the Thunder (-3) in Game 5, a must win spot for the Thunder and after a terrible start, the Thunder woke up and got the win and point spread cover, helping us to a now fantastic NBA Playoff picks (all A.T.S) record of (21-8). When we take an Underdog we want to see “Value” and tonight we grab some of it taking the Thunder plus the points.
The guy the Thunder traded some solid young talent to get, and for just this one season, Paul George, has really played off charts in both wins. In the 3 losses, not even close. In the two wins, George is avg. (35) pts and hitting (54%) and an insane (59%) on 3’s. Russ has put up solid numbers for the most part, but he’s turned the ball over 18x the past 3 games alone. They will not win tonight without a great game from both Westbrook and George. I think they carry over the momentum from Game 5 to tonight, as these guys are Superstars and they know they must win or this season is over. It took awhile for that to finally hit them both, but now I think we see vintage performance in Game 6.
Both teams either seem to play fantastic or poorly. In the Jazz wins, Ricky Rubio is scoring (20.3) points and hitting (41%) shooting. In the losses he’s scoring only (11.5) points and shooting a horrific (28%). I think he does somewhere in middle tonight, as he’s never been a great scoring threat. The key for Utah is Center Gobert staying on the court. He got foul 5 last game midway in 3rd, and that allowed the monster Thunder comeback. When Gobert has been on floor in the 2 games in Utah, with Westbrook also on the floor, (73 minutes), the Jazz have outscore the Thunder by 39 points. Gobert MUST stay out of foul trouble, as he has slowed Westbrook’s “bull in the China shop” drives for easy layup baskets.
It’s always an advantage to play on your Home court, but tonight I feel that Home court is overpriced into the Vegas line of (-6 1/2). It’s simply too many points in what I expect to be a very close game, with the Thunder even very possible to win straight up and force a Game 7. I feel game 5 ignited Westbrook back to his “near best player in league” status, and same with Paul George. I also feel Carmelo Anthony is overdue for even a decent game of 15 points. This game is going to the wire and be as exciting and filled with drama and some sensational Hoops so far this Playoff season.
GARY’S “GREENE LIGHT SPORTS DISTRICT” NBA PICK OF THE NIGHT: TAKE THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER (+6 1/2) over Utah in Game 6.
