Esports companies have raised almost $2 Billion in disclosed investments for Q1 2018 already.

The Esports Observer has released a new Esports Business Digest document that goes over some very interesting data in relation to the Esports market.

  • As the article title states, there’s been almost $2 Billion in Esports investments in 2018 already. $200 million changed hands in February alone.
  •  Tencent has made the biggest moves so far with it’s $632 Million investment in Huya, a Twitch like live streaming service.
  •  The US made up 77% of all investments in 2017 but has slipped to only 50% in 2018 due to explosive growth in Asian markets.
